Our culture reflects our shared values, and we believe that everyone at the ICCT has an important part in making these values come alive in our day-to-day work. We embrace the values listed below and use them as a framework to guide our interactions and decision-making.
ICCT provides a complete and generous benefits package including medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and time off (vacation days, paid holidays, sick days, etc.). Other benefits include a clean transit subsidy, professional development, office events, and all staff retreats, just to name a few.
Internships and fellowships
We help train the next generation of transportation policy analysts and hires individuals who possess the intelligence, willingness, dedication, and maturity to take on enormous responsibility. Our interns play an active role in a variety of our current projects. Over the course of an internship or fellowship, our interns and fellows work directly with ICCT researchers and policy analysts in one or more program areas.
Our internship program is targeted toward students currently enrolled or who have just finished a graduate degree program and offers positions throughout the year (including summer break). Interns are typically asked to prepare analyses and help draft publications or blogs. Internships are typically offered part or full-time for 3 months or less. Interns receive the benefits of sick pay, paid holidays, and a clean transportation subsidy.
We also offer fellowships within our program areas and in communications. Fellowships are typically offered full-time and last between 3 and 12 months. Fellows receive the benefits of paid vacation, sick pay, paid holidays, a pre-tax clean transportation subsidy, and are eligible to enroll in our health insurance.
The qualifications and deadlines vary by opportunity, so please check here for open positions and further detail. For more insight on what it's like to intern at ICCT check out the video below featuring several of our former interns and fellows.
